Billboard Music Awards: Drake e Olivia Rodrigo são destaques da noite

No último domingo (15), foi realizada mais uma edição do Billboard Music Awards. A cerimônia é uma das premiações mais relevantes da indústria fonográfica por celebrar os grandes acontecimentos do ano da música pop, além de elencar os nomes mais interessantes do momento. O evento também recebe apresentações eletrizantes todos os anos. Nesta edição, Megan Thee Stallion, Burna Boy, Ed Sheeran e Travis Scott brilharam com grandes shows.

Embora as expectativas fossem altas em relação a The Weeknd levar boa parte dos prêmios, não foi isso que aconteceu. O artista, indicado a 17 categorias, venceu apenas uma como melhor artista masculino de R&B. O nome mais citado da noite, na prática, foi o de Drake. O rapper canadense aumentou a distância entre os maiores vencedores da história da premiação, indo de 29 para 34 prêmios com o disco Certified Lover Boy.

Olivia Rodrigo também ganhou destaque na noite. A cantora levou para casa sete prêmios com o disco de estreia, Sour. Ela levou uma estatueta a mais que Kanye West (ou Ye). O maior grupo de k-pop hoje, BTS, também deixou sua marca na premiação. Eles venceram três prêmios na noite.
